My Story
Design Wasn’t the Plan.
Solving Problems Became the Purpose.
I didn’t set out to become a designer, but a small moment quietly set everything in motion.
One evening, my father brought home a Sony handycam, bundled with basic image and video editing software. Out of curiosity, I began experimenting; editing family videos, and shaping simple stories from everyday moments. My father noticed it first, and his belief led me to Bengaluru to pursue formal training in visual design.
At the time, the path felt unconventional. While many of my friends were choosing engineering and technical degrees, I stepped into a creative discipline with uncertainty. However, that hesitation didn’t last long. Immersed in visual storytelling, I discovered a deep interest in how ideas take form, and how design influences understanding. I began my career in 2010 as a Visual Designer, but curiosity continued to pull me forward. Web design led to interaction design, which naturally evolved into UI/UX. With each transition, my perspective matured. I realized design was not about aesthetics alone; it was about structure, intent, and problem-solving.
Over time, my focus expanded from crafting visuals to shaping products. I moved into product design and strategy, working closely with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define problem spaces, align priorities, and design experiences that balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business outcomes.
Today, I operate as a Senior Product Designer and Strategist, designing enterprise and AI-driven products where clarity, scale, and impact matter more than surface-level polish. My journey has shaped how I approach complex systems with a multidisciplinary mindset, strong storytelling, bias toward outcomes, and navigating ambiguity.
I am based in Bengaluru, living with my wife, Sriya, and our one-year-old son, Ovi. Outside of work, I enjoy photography and videography, gardening, reading, playing badminton, football, and cricket (a fitness enthusiast); pursuits that keep me observant, and creatively engaged.
